At the age of 15, I began my career as a model and actress. From there, I quickly landed a job as an assistant manager and recruiter, where I discovered my love for art and fashion. In college, I pursued my passion for fashion design, won a scholarship, and worked as an independent fashion consultant while also providing care for the elderly, people with disabilities, and hospice patients.
After college, I opened a thriving retail shop and continued to work as a fashion consultant. Even during the pandemic, I adapted and transitioned my business online. However, when my business slowed down, I didn't let it hold me back. Instead, I took the initiative to pursue a new career as a licensed real estate agent, where I used my skills to help numerous investors, buyers, and renters find their perfect homes.
Now, I am thrilled to begin my new journey as a Business Development Consultant. My diverse background and experience have prepared me for any challenge, and I am confident in my ability to deliver results and provide the best service to my clients. With my unwavering determination and passion, I am ready to help people from all over the world achieve their goals. : https://www.linkedin.com/in/terry-coulter-233a5444/

When it comes to managing a team, it can be hard. We want to connect with our team but still keep a professional distance, share information but not too much, it can leaves feeling uneasy at times. If hiring a strategy consultant isn't the right thing for you at the moment, then maybe a few book recommendations might help!
If I had to pick one go-to book it would be "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team." The pyramid to the left is just a little tidbit it gives your helping you understand why your team might be struggling. The Five Dysfunctions of a Team outlines the root causes of politics and dysfunction on the teams where you work, and the keys to overcoming them. Counter to conventional wisdom, the causes of dysfunction are both identifiable and curable. However, they don't die easily. Making a team functional and cohesive requires levels of courage and discipline that many groups cannot seem to muster. This book gives you a little insight to what it means to be a management consultant!
Ok, so I initially saw this book and the title was appealing enough to stop me in my tracks and I was so thankful it did! Here is the synopsis "Are you tired of feeling f*cked up? If you are, Gary John Bishop has the answer. In this straightforward handbook, he gives you the tools and advice you need to demolish the slag weighing you down and become the truly unf*cked version of yourself. “Wake up to the miracle you are,” he directs. “Here’s what you’ve forgotten: You’re a f*cking miracle of being.” It isn’t other people that are standing in your way; it isn’t even your circumstances that are blocking your ability to thrive. It’s yourself and the negative self-talk you keep telling yourself."
This book really was truly everything it said it would be. As a marketing consultant, I would give it a 10/10.
